sustainable business practices

-new west landscapes commits to the use of fuel-efficient vehicles for our work. if conditions permit, we may just show up on bike!

-all business cards and marketing materials are printed on 100% recycled paper with soy inks (when possible) right here in bozeman.

-we telecommute. whenever possible we work from home eliminating the daily morning and evening commutes.

-new west landscapes works to schedule acceptable meeting times to minimize travel. this greatly reduces our carbon footprint.

- we strive to minimize the amount of paper used in our design process. As hand drawing is an irreplaceable tool for design exploration and expression, high volumes of paper are traditionally used in the design professions. In every instance possible we use smaller format paper and imagery for design exploration, design development and design process. this also saves the client money.

-We recycle everything the city of bozeman will take AND then haul glass containers to livingston where they are pulverized. working closely with our clients, WE utilize the crushed glass from this facility to enhance our landscaping projects whenever possible.

-new west landscapes uses 100% recycled paper in our printer.

-we use electronic billing to make our business operations even more green.

-new west landscapes recycles and uses refilled ink cartridges.

-if the sun is shining the lights are turned off at New west landscapes. Both design studios boast fabulous natural day light.

-our office is cooled BY natural breezes during the summer months. thank god for operable windows!

-NEW WEST LANDSCAPES purchaseS with our environment in mind.

WE donate TO sustainable non-profits.
